Kingdom of Polybius, Part 3

HUGE UPDATE!! Thanks to the fan who emailed me the code (although I think their shift key might have been broken...) I got the safe open!

Yeah, it's a book. I was a little disappointed at first, because it could've had treasure in it or something cool like that. But this is ever better - it's a history book! It details every major event that occured in the kingdom, beginning with its creation. However, I skimmed through it, and it seems like the last few pages are missing, because it ends pretty abruptly. But that doesn't matter, as there's still a ton of information about the kingdom in it! I just started reading it, here are some important takeaways:

• The first king was named Polyfix, NOT Polybius. I'm kinda confused as to why it's even called the Kingdom of Polybius?
• The kingdom's early economy was based on agriculture, arts, and strangely enough, torches. There's not really an explanation as to how that worked.
• The author of the book is anonymous, but they just describe themselves as an archivist who wants to make sure their kingdom's story is preserved. Well, they kinda failed at that, LOL.
• There was apparently a very succeesful tavern in the kingdom that people from all over the world stayed at.

Honestly, besides from a couple oddities, this seems like a pretty normal kingdom for the medieval era. Nothing in here has really pointed towards why the kingdom seemingly vanished without leaving a trace, and considering the last few pages are missing, I don't think I'll find the answer in this book. Still, it's really interesting. I'll post more from the book later.
